Dear colleagues,

Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the SIPP 2020 conference on “Limits, Frontiers, Rims and Borders” scheduled to take place on June 11-13th in Nicosia, Cyprus, is cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date. Once we are able to plan for a new date we will inform you accordingly. We hope that you will still be able to participate and we look forward to welcoming you in Cyprus when the pandemic subsides. It is surely a situation that has affected borders and limits in an unprecedented way and we hope that the conference will give us all a forum to rethink these ideas in light of the events currently unfolding.
As a preview to the conference, we are planning to host a 2-4 hour session via Zoom on Saturday, June 13th, and invite interested participants to give a short paper or statement on the topic they were planning to present on at the conference. More information on this to follow.
